Untold Stories is an attempt by African media scholars to fill the void created by the dearth of research and publications on emerging areas of African journalism. It explores how African media organisations and journalists have covered the continent’s protracted economic crises, reform programmes, governance issues, and the current push towards globalisation.

The text should appeal to media scholars and practitioners, as well as to others in the fields of economics, political science and sociology, with an interest in African development.
