We are delighted to announce that New York University Press is from April 2018 handling the sales, marketing, and distribution services for Wits University Press publications in North and South America.
Wits Press publications should be available for digital and print distribution in the US by June 2018.

NYUPress puts out seasonal catalogues of new books twice yearly, in Fall and Spring. Wits Press titles published in the last 18 – 24 months are included in the Fall 2018 catalogue which has already been sent to African Studies scholars and university lecturers at US institutions.

Wits Press has expanded its digital footprint and worked for the past three years on the digitisation of its publications. From 2018, all new book releases are simultaneously available in digital and print formats, including print-on-demand (POD). Over the next few years a full backlist of books will be digitised and available from select e-retail and distribution partners worldwide.
NYUPress’ web retail partners include Kindle, Google, Amazon, Kobo and others.
Libraries:
Digital versions of publications are now available for sale to all academic and institutional libraries through EBSCO, JSTOR, Project Muse, ProQuest and Cambridge Core, CUP’s online platform.
By partnering with NYU Press and digital aggregators, Wits Press is confident that its footprint in the North and South American market, as well as institutions globally, will be greatly improved.
